2008 Beijing Olympiv
Games

When
Mr.Samaramch, the chariman of the 1OC, anounced “the host city of
2008 Olympics is—Beijing”, every chinese cheered up at once, I was
also sleepless at that night.
I am a
Chinese. What can I do for the Olympics?
First,
learn English well. If I can speak English fluently, I would be able
to communicate with foreigners, and I would give a hand to them when
they need help.
Second, spread the spirit of the Olympics. The motto of the Olympics
is “higher, faster, stronger”. So we must be healthy to realire it.
Let’s do more exercises to keep us fit from now on.
Third,
protect environment. A green environment can bring us pleasure,
beauty and fresh air. Planting more tress, throwing the rubbish into
the wastebin, etc are good to make the air claener and the
environment better.
Good
luck, Beijing Olympics 2008. Let’s work harder for this great job.

My beautiful hometown—Hainan

I live
in Hainan, Hainan is in the south of China. It’s the second largest
island in China. The fresh air, sunlight, green vegetation, golden
beach, clear and warm water here attract many people from all over
the world.
There
are many beautiful sceneries in Hainan. Remotest End of the Earth,
Bay of Greater East sea, Ya long Bay, Monkey island at East sea, Ya
long Bay, Monkey island at Nanwan, Memorial Temple of the Five Lords
and the Southern pillar are the most popular scenic spots here.
There
are also lots of dolicious tropical fruits and seafoods here, such
as mango, papaw, crab, lobster, etc, And people here are very kind
and warm-hearted.
I love
my hometown, It’s so beautiful. You are warmly Welcome to Hainan!

One Wold One Dream

I’m
looking forward to the coming of August 8, 2008 As a little host. I
really want to be a volunteer for it, however, I’m too young to be a
real volunteer. But I can still contribute for it.
First,
I will give a warm welcome to every friend from all over the world.
I will do everything I can do for them to show Chinese friendship
and hospitality, such as to be an interpreter, show them the way,
etc.
Second, I will learn more about China, I will introduce the long
history of China and beautiful tour cities to foreign friends, let
them know more about China.
Third,
I will mobilize every student around me to learn civilized manners
and protect the environment. Let’s try our best for the Beijing
Olympics to be a real Green Olympics, humanity Olympics, technology
Olympics.
“One
world one dream” I hope 2008 Beijing Olympics will be sucessful.

Hello,
my name is Liuhao, I’m 12 years old, I’m from Hebei, I’m a happy
boy.
I came
to Hainan in 2007 with my parents, Hainan is an island, It looks
like a tortoise. It’s very hot and very beautiful. The coconut tree
is the land mark of Hainan. People here are very kind. There are no
large industries in Hainan. So the air here is very clean and the
sky is blue. The Forum fot Asia is located in Boao, Hainan. Hainan
is also a free trade zone, and it is very prosperous. Hainan is
attracting more and more people from all over the world.
I love
Hainan. You are welcome to Hainan.

My
dear friends, do you know the mascots of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
Let me tell you something about them.
Fuwa
is mascots of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. It carries a message
of friendship and peace, and good wishes from China to children all
over the world. Each of Fuwa has a rhytning two-syllable name. It’s
a traditional way to show love to children in China. Beijing is the
fish, Jingjing is the Panda, Huanhuan is the Olympic Flame, Yingying
is the Tibetan Antelope and Nini is the Swallow. When you put their
names together-Beijing Huan Ying Ni-they say “welocme to Beijing”,
They offer a warm invitation to people from all over the world.
Welcome to Beijing! Welcome to China!

I can do it

In
2008, I am only 12 years old. Many people might say: You are too
young to do anything for the Games, but I don’t think so. I am sure
I can do a lot for the event.
First,
I have the duty to keep our city clean and tidy. I will me ither
litter nor spit on streets. When I see any waste, I will pick it up
and put it into the dustbin. If everybody in Beijing does the same
thing, foreign visitors will see a beautiful and clean city.
Next,
if I am lucky to go and watch the games on the spot, I will cheer
for the players from all over the world.
Last,
I hope everybody will smile at foreign visitors. Smile it the best
card for Beijing, foreign visitors will feel at home here.
“One
world, one dream!” Let’s work together to let the dream of Olympic
Game come true! Welocme to Beijing! Welcome to China.

A letter to the
children in Taiwan

Dear friends：
How are you？
I am your friend from China mainland. Taiwan is the
biggest island in China. It is called treasure island. It
is one part of China for ever, because in the past, there
were some political factors between the governments. Now, the
governments still have different attitudes. I believe that
China mainland and Taiwan only have one mother---China.
Maybe, the children in Taiwan want to know something about
the mainland. Now, let me tell you about it.
There are many
famous places for traveling in China mainland. For example, The
terra-- cotta warriors and horses in Xian. It is Emperor Qin
Shihuang’s Mausoleum. It was founded by the villagers. There
are three pits. They are as big as about two and a half
football fields. The Mausoleum showed us Qin Shihuang’s
strong determination of wiping out the six states and
unifying the whole country . The height of the terra-- cotta
warriors, the shortest one is 1.78m, the tallest one , is
1.97m. They look strong and healthy, and have different facial
expression. Everything in the Mausoleum is so perfect.
There is not
only the terra—cotta warriors, but also the Han Tomb of
Guishan in JiangSu. It’s the uniqueness of China. It’s the
tomb of the emperor and his wife. It’s an unusual site.
It’s an excavated mountain. It’s long and wide inside.
There were kitchens、ballrooms
、living
rooms and so on.
My friends ,
we hope that one day, you can come back to China, we can
go to the Great Wall, climb the Fragrant Hill and visit
the Summer Palaces together. I believe that the day will
come soon.

给台湾小朋友的一封信
台湾小朋友们：
你们好吗？我是来自中国大陆的一位朋友，台湾岛是中国第一大岛，也称宝岛。台湾，永远是中国领土的一部分，因为在过去，由于某中政治原因，直到现在政府官员们仍持有不同的看法。我坚信中国大陆和台湾共同拥有一个祖国母亲—---中国。也许，台湾的小朋友想了解我们的中国大陆，现在，就让我来给你们介绍吧！
在中国大陆有许多著名的地方，可供游玩，比如说，西安的秦始皇兵马佣。它是秦皇的墓地，是被当地的村民发现的，已发掘了三个佣坑，总面积有两个半足球场那么大，整个陵墓展现了秦始皇消灭六国，统一全国的有力决策。秦俑的高度，最矮的有1.78m，最高的有1.97m，他们看起来非常的强壮和健康，每个秦俑的面部表情都不一样，在陵墓里的每一件物品是如此的令人赞叹。
在中国，不仅有秦兵马俑，还有“中华一绝”的龟山汉墓，它位于江苏省。龟山汉墓是汉代帝皇及其夫人的葬陵墓。它不是一个普通的陵墓，它是通过山体打凿出来的，几乎掏空了整个山体。陵墓里面很长，也很宽。厨房、歌舞厅、会客厅……一应俱有。
我的朋友们，我们期望着你们回到祖国怀抱的那一天，我们能去登长城，去爬香山，去颐和园游玩。我相信，那一天将会很快到来。

A sweet home

I have a sweet and happy
family . I live with my mum and my grandparents . I love them very
much .
We have a happy life . We
help each other.We usually enjoy the happiness together . But in
difficulties . We also stay together and help each other . My mum
，is
a worker in the post office .She is kind to everyone . She is full
of emotions. She never cries in her life . But one day , I saw her
eyes with tears. In fact , she was moved by the earthquake disaster
happened in Sichuan Province. Every time , she gives me
encouragements and confidence .Sometimes , when I am naughty , she
will show me which is good and which is bad.
My grandparents are very
kind---hearted old people . My grandpa is good at making things and
telling stories . At the weekends , I usually ask my grandpa to tell
me something about his youth. Sometimes , his eyes are wet while he
is telling . Then he will laugh in a lovely way . My grandma is
diligent . She loves my grandpa , she loves her family too . She can
do all kinds of houseworks. Cooking , is one of the best .
A happy and sweet
home , brings us comfort , it can make us work hard and study well .
一个甜蜜的家
我有一个甜蜜而快乐的家。那有我的妈妈、外公、外婆和我。我非常的爱他们。
我们过着快乐的生活，彼此间相互帮助，我们还会分享着彼此间的快乐，但是当谁有困难的时候，我们会团结在一起共同去解决。我的妈妈，是邮政局的一名普通工人，她对每个人都非常的友善，也是一个感情丰富的人，在生活中，我没见过妈妈掉过眼泪，但是有一天，我看见了妈妈的眼睛里饱含了眼泪，原来，她是在为发生在四川的地震所感动。每次，妈妈会鼓励我，给予我自信。有时候，当我不听话时，妈妈会耐心教导我，哪样是对的，哪样是错的。
我的外祖父母是一对非常善良的老人，外公很擅长于动手制作小玩意和讲故事。在周末的时候，我通常会要求外公给我讲他小时候的故事，有些时候，当他讲故事时，眼里会泛着泪光，然后会很可爱的笑开了。外婆非常的勤劳，她很爱外公，她也爱她的家，外婆会做很多家务活，烹饪是她的拿手好戏。
一个快乐而甜蜜的家，能给家人带来舒适的感觉，它能让我们更加努力学习和工作。
My clever grandpa

My grandpa is a
70—year old man. He is tall and strong, he is old ,but
he is full of energy. Every morning, he gets up early to
do his exercises, such as running and playing with sword.
Then , he will go and cut the grass in the little garden.
When we get out of bed, everything is OK. So , my grandpa
is diligent.
Grandpa is an
old Communist party member. When he was young, he got this
reputation. He is also a good TV art designer. He helps
many people design TV art programs. He is welcome on the
work. He kept the job for forty years. So he is very
clever and earnest. His hobby is inventing little things, he
usually uses the toothpaste tubs to make model planes, then
he will present them to the neighbors . Everything is made
by his hands, I have a straw—bear. Now, it’s on my
bookcase. It was made by my grandpa.
I love my
grandpa. He is clever and kind.
我那聪明的爷爷
我的爷爷是个70岁高龄的老人了，他长得很高也很结实。虽然他的年纪很大，但是他显得很有精神。每天早上，他会很早起来去做早操，还有跑步和打剑。然后爷爷回会到小花园里去割草。当我们睡醒的时候，爷爷已经准备好了一切，爷爷是那么的勤快。
爷爷在他很年轻的时候就加入了中国共产党，他不仅是个老党员，还是个电视文艺策划人，他曾经帮助过很多人策划节目，在工作上，他是个十分受欢迎的人，他一直在这工作岗位上奋斗了四十年，所以说他是个又聪明又诚恳的人。他的爱好是发明小玩意，他通常会用牙膏皮去制作出一些飞机模型，然后送给邻居，爷爷能制作各式各样的东西，我有一个稻草编的小熊，，直到现在，它还在我的书柜上，也是爷爷给我编的。
我爱我的爷爷，他是那么的聪明和善良。
